Holy Cross

So we were directed to Holy Cross church in Kalaheo from the Immaculate Conception. We were told that it is run by the order of La Salette priests. At first I thought "La Salette" is the same as "La Salle", but it is not. La Salette is a place in France where the Virgin Mary appeared to two boys in 1846. "La Salle" is an educational ministry inspired by St. Jean-Baptiste de La Salle, a French educator. The congregation, known as the de La Salle Christian Brothers, is a Catholic religious order of laymen (not priests). They run a number of private universities around the world including, of course, in Green Hills in the Philippines.

The church was closed when we got there but I was able to take a photo of the inside through a glass pane. I cannot find any more information about the church though, when it was established, etc.
